Piyush Chawla to Siddharth Kaul: 13 Indians register for SA20 auction: A big news is coming out before the auction of the fourth season of South Africa T20 League (SA20). Let us tell you that the auction for the upcoming season of the tournament is going to be held in Johannesburg on 9 September. 13 Indian cricketers have registered for this auction.

The biggest name among these Indian players is Piyush Chawla. Apart from Chawla, Siddharth Kaul and Ankit Rajput have also registered. Also, for your information, let us tell you that BCCI allows only those players to participate in foreign T20 leagues who have retired from IPL and Indian cricket team.

All these players are among the 784 shortlisted players, on whom the 6 teams participating in the tournament will be seen bidding on 9 September. All the 6 teams have a remaining purse of 7.4 million US dollars, which they will be seen using to fill 84 vacant slots in the upcoming auction.

The base price of all Indian players is 2 lakh rand. However, Piyush Chawla has kept his base price at 5 lakh rand, which is more than 25 lakh in Indian rupees. Let us tell you that former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik was the first Indian cricketer who was seen playing for Paarl Royals in the last season of SA20.

Apart from this, the operating committee of SA20 has already clarified that all the 6 teams will be allowed to select a player through a wildcard. This player can be South African or foreign. But the payment of this player will be outside the salary cap.

Pakistani players in SA20: Apart from this, more than 40 Pakistani players have also registered for the upcoming season of SA20, which includes players like Imam ul Haq, Azam Khan, Abrar Ahmed and Sam Ayub. However, in the last three seasons of the tournament, no team has selected a Pakistani player.
