With only a few hours till the magnificent closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024, fans are excited to see who will perform.

According to sources, French actor and creative director Thomas Jolly, who planned the opening ceremony, will also manage the closing event. He has chosen the theme for the closing ceremony as 'Records'.

Olympics.com confirms that the ceremonies will take place at the legendary 80,000-seater Stade de France, which will be turned into a massive music arena.

Over 100 performers, acrobats, dancers, and circus artists will perform with world-renowned vocalists in a variety of musical presentations.

Jolly describes the play as 'very visual, acrobatic, and operatic, with a tremendous visual fresco'.

Celebrities Performing during the Closing Ceremony

According to numerous websites, H.E.R., a five-time Grammy winner, is anticipated to perform the US national anthem live at the Stade de France, as the next Olympics are planned to take place in Los Angeles in 2028.

Rapper Snoop Dogg is also likely to perform, according to NBS News, though this has not been confirmed.

Billie Eilish and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are among the artists scheduled to appear.

Variety reports that producer Ben Winston is communicating with French producers of the Closing Ceremony.

Apart from that, Variety reports that Hollywood star Tom Cruise may get on his motorbike and do death-defying acrobatics in France.

The closing ceremony in Paris begins at 9 p.m. local time (12:30 AM IST, August 12).
