Pakistan announces squad for Australia and Zimbabwe tour: The Pakistan cricket team has recently won the Test series against England at home. Chairman will announce the captain: PCB has said in its media release that Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will announce the name of the new captain of the ODI and T20 team on Sunday at 3:30 pm. However, before that PCB has announced the team for both the tours.
After the defeat in the first Test match against England, the selectors dropped Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Babar Azam from the remaining two Test matches. However, all three remain in the Australia ODI and T20 team. All three have been selected in the ODI and T20 team for the Australia tour but have been rested from the Zimbabwe tour. Mohammad Rizwan has been selected in the ODI and T20 team for the Australia tour but has been rested from the ODI team on the Zimbabwe tour. All three must have breathed a sigh of relief after seeing their names in the team.
