The ACC Men's Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, scheduled to begin on November 14 in Doha, Qatar, will be played in the T20 format. A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament. Muhammad Irfan Khan has been appointed captain of Pakistan's A team, the Pakistan Shaheens. The Rising Stars Asia Cup will be played in Qatar from November 14 to 23. In the tournament, the Pakistan Shaheens have been placed in Group B, where they will face Oman, India A, and the UAE. Group A includes Afghanistan A, Bangladesh A, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka A.
The Pakistan Shaheens will play their first match against Oman on November 14, followed by India A on November 16. The team's final group match will be against the UAE on November 18. The team selectors have given opportunities to young and emerging players this time. Only three players in the entire squad have senior national team experience, captain Muhammad Irfan, spinner Sufyan Muqeem, and fast bowler Ahmed Daniyal. The rest are young talents who have performed well in the Under-19, Shaheens programs, domestic cricket, and the Pakistan Super League.
As per the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, which will be played on November 21. The final will be held on November 23. All matches will be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Before departing on November 12, the Pakistan Shaheens will hold a training camp at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi from November 8 to 11.
