Pakistan announced squad for the Test series against South Africa: Pakistan will begin its campaign in the 2025-27 World Test Championship on October 12th. They will play two Test matches against South Africa from October 12th to 24th. Pakistan's 18-member squad for this series was named on Tuesday, September 30th. Shaheen Afridi returns to the squad, having last played a Test in October last year. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have also been included in the Test squad. Three uncapped players have also been selected for this series, who could make their debuts. Naseem Shah has not been included in this squad.
