PAK Vs WI: The West Indies cricket team arrived in Islamabad on Monday for its first Test series in Pakistan in 18 years. The West Indies last visited Pakistan for a Test series in 2006. However, the team has visited Pakistan twice for white-ball series in the meantime.
The visiting team will play a three-day practice match against Pakistan Shaheens (Pakistan's A team) from January 10 in Islamabad before the opening Test to be played in Multan from January 17. The second Test of this series will be played at the same venue from January 25. This will be the last series of both the teams in the current cycle of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). Both the teams are at the bottom of the points table.
