MS Dhoni Unbreakable Records: Independence Day was being celebrated on 15 August 2020, but that very evening a chapter in the history of Indian cricket ended quietly, without any fanfare. A video on Instagram and a song in the background, 'Pal Do Pal Meri Kahani Hai', and with this, the best captain of Indian cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, said goodbye to international cricket. Without any press conference, without any noise, Dhoni, known for his simplicity and humility, posted a video of his career in the same style and said, consider me retired from international cricket after 15 August 2020.
Before the fans could digest this, within half an hour another news broke their hearts. Dhoni's good friend and Indian cricket's great batsman Suresh Raina also announced his retirement from international cricket. Fans were shocked by these two retirement decisions and could not understand what was happening. Dhoni and Raina's friendship was quite famous. Captaincy in most finals in IPL: He is the player who has captained in the finals of IPL for the most number of times i.e. 10 times, which shows his consistency.

Most stumpings: Dhoni holds the record for most stumpings in international cricket. He has made a total of 195 stumpings, which is more than the player second after him. His lightning-fast stumpings are known as 'Dhoni stumpings'.
Record of fastest stumping: He made a stumping in just 0.08 seconds in an ODI match against West Indies in 2018, which is a world record.

The only player to finish a World Cup final with a six: In the 2011 ODI World Cup final, Dhoni led India to victory by hitting a six. He is the only player in the world to finish a match by hitting a six in a World Cup final.
Highest ODI score as a wicketkeeper-batsman: Dhoni played a brilliant innings of 183* against Sri Lanka in 2005, which is the highest score made by a wicketkeeper while chasing.
