Most number of 5 wicket hauls for India in ODIs

Batting records often grab the headlines in ODI cricket, but some of India's fast and spin bowlers have turned matches around with their lethal bowling. When it comes to Indian bowlers with the most five-wicket hauls (five wickets in an innings) in ODIs, Team India's star pacer Mohammed Shami tops the list.

1. Mohammed Shami – 6 times (2013–2025)

Mohammed Shami has bowled in 108 ODIs in his career and has taken six five-wicket hauls. His best performance is 7/57, a significant achievement for any Indian fast bowler. Shami has taken 206 wickets so far at an average of 24.05 and a strike rate of 25.85. His swing and accurate bowling in the death overs make him a lethal bowler against any team.

2. Javagal Srinath – 3 times (1991–2003)
