T20 World Cup 2024 is to start from June 1, before which Team India has suffered a big shock. Indian team's fast bowler Mohammed Shami was injured during the ODI World Cup 2023. Since then he has been staying away from the cricket field. Shami also got his surgery done in London, after which he shared a post and wrote that he will return to the field soon.
Mohammed Shami will take 3-4 months to recover from the surgery and due to this he will not be able to play IPL 2024. It is also difficult for him to play the T20 World Cup. In this series, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that Mohammed Shami will return to the field in the home series against Bangladesh
Jay Shah said that Shami has undergone surgery and has returned to India. Shami is likely to return in the home series against Bangladesh. Talking to the media, Shah said that KL Rahul needs injections, he has started rehab and is in NCA.
