Martin Guptill scored 23 international centuries in his career and also showed his prowess in the limited overs format. Guptill is the highest run-scorer for New Zealand in T20. He has scored 3531 runs in 122 matches. He has scored 7346 runs in ODIs and is the highest run-scorer for New Zealand in this format. Ross Taylor and Stephen Fleming are ahead of him.
Martin Guptill is the first New Zealand batsman to score a century in his first ODI. He achieved this feat against West Indies in 2009. Later that year, he was successful in making it to the ICC's World ODI XI. Guptill has played many great innings in his career, including a record innings of 237 runs against West Indies in the quarter-finals of the 2015 World Cup. This is the highest individual score by any batsman in the World Cup and he is the first New Zealand batsman to score a double century in ODIs. Guptill scored an unbeaten 189 against England in 2013 and an unbeaten 180 against South Africa in 2017.
Martin Guptill has scored two memorable centuries in T20. He scored an unbeaten 101 off 69 balls against South Africa in 2012 and 105 off 54 balls against Australia in 2018. Martin Guptill has also performed brilliantly in Tests and has scored 2586 runs in 47 matches. He has scored three centuries in this format and his personal highest score in Tests has been 189 runs against Bangladesh in 2010. Apart from this, Guptill has scored 109 runs against Zimbabwe in 2011 and 156 runs against Sri Lanka in 2015.
