Mandhana has been officially signed by the newly rebranded team, Manchester Super Giants, for the 2026 'The Women's Hundred' season. This announcement, made on January 15th, is big news for the cricket world, as one of the world's most aggressive batters is returning to the tournament with a new team.

The Manchester franchise has recently undergone significant changes. The RPSG Group, in partnership with Lancashire Cricket, has acquired a 70 percent stake, following which 'Manchester Originals' has been rebranded as Manchester Super Giants.
Franchise owner Sanjiv Goenka described this change as the beginning of a new chapter in UK cricket. Although the team name has changed, they will still play their home matches at the historic Emirates Old Trafford ground.
Smriti Mandhana’s Stellar Track Record in The Hundred

Smriti Mandhana performance in The Hundred: The Hundred is not a new platform for Mandhana.
Previously, she was part of Southern Brave from 2021 to 2024, where she had a stellar performance- Total Runs: 676 runs in 29 innings.
- Strike Rate: 139.09 (highly impressive).
- Half-centuries: 5 half-centuries.
- Historic Achievement: She became the first player to reach the 500-run mark in the history of The Women's Hundred.
Smriti Mandhana was Southern Brave's top scorer in 2022 and also showcased her class in 2023 by scoring two consecutive half-centuries.
