Lucknow Supergiants have won the hearts of the fans by buying Rishabh Pant (27 crores) at a record-breaking price. With this, LSG has prepared its 24-member team for the IPL 2025 season. For this, the franchise has spent Rs 119.90 crore. It is worth noting that Lucknow Supergiants used only 6 out of 8 slots for foreign players. Lucknow Supergiants have strengthened their team by buying many more attractive players along with Pant. Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player

Lucknow Supergiants have made Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant the most expensive player in IPL history. When Rishabh Pant's name came among the marquee players, a fierce competition was seen between RCB and LSG. Then in the middle, SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) picked up the paddle and made the battle exciting. Rishabh Pant's bid stopped at Rs 20.75 crore. But then Delhi Capitals got a chance to use RTM. Lucknow Supergiants said that they are ready to pay Rs 27 crore for Pant. Hearing this, Delhi Capitals withdrew their hands and in this way Pant overtook Shreyas Iyer in a few minutes and became the most expensive player in IPL history.
