Punjab Kings, captained by Shreyas Iyer, will play against Kolkata Knight Riders at their home ground. This match will be special because Iyer made KKR the champion under his captaincy last year, today he will face the same team. This match will be played today on 15th April from 7:30 pm at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium.
Punjab Kings star bowler Ferguson has been ruled out due to injury. The team's bowling coach has confirmed that his injury is serious and it is difficult for him to recover by the end of the tournament. After being picked for Rs 2 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction last year, Ferguson performed well for Punjab Kings and took five wickets in four matches.
