List of unsold players in the WPL 2026 auction: The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction introduced the cricket world to a unique blend of excitement and strategy. While teams spent ₹40.8 crore to strengthen their squads and acquire 67 players, the biggest setback was the fact that several prominent and well-known players remained unsold.
Out of a total of 276 players, 209 players remained unsold, making this auction a highly unexpected event.

The most surprising moment of the WPL 2026 auction came when Australia's legendary and world-class captain Alyssa Healy remained unsold. Healy, who started the auction with a base price of ₹50 lakh, was not picked by any franchise.
Apart from her, the omission of international players like former England captain Heather Knight and Australia's premier spinner Alana King also drew discussion. This demonstrates how precise and future-oriented the teams' strategies are.

Not just foreign players, several Indian talents also faced disappointment. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Uma Chetry (base price ₹50 lakh) was part of the UP Warriors last season, but she too remained unsold this time. Additionally, several players who performed well in domestic cricket also failed to find buyers.
