List of Players Who Left PSL to Join IPL 2026 as Replacements: The IPL is the world's largest franchise cricket league. The Pakistan Super League has decided to go head-to-head with the IPL. The PSL is set to commence on March 26, while the first match of IPL 2026 will be played on March 28. Every player aspires to play in a major tournament like the IPL. Three such players have turned down PSL contracts in order to play in IPL 2026.
3. Dasun Shanaka - RR

Sam Curran was slated to play for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026. However, he sustained an injury just prior to the tournament. Consequently, the Rajasthan Royals were in search of a replacement. Dasun Shanaka was scheduled to play for the Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, but he withdrew his name and subsequently joined the Rajasthan Royals squad for IPL 2026 as Sam Curran's replacement.

2. Spencer Johnson - CSK

Australian fast bowler Spencer Johnson was set to be a part of PSL 2026. He had been acquired by the Quetta Gladiators during the auction. However, he later withdrew from the tournament and joined the CSK squad as a replacement for Nathan Ellis.

Blessing Muzarabani was originally scheduled to play for Islamabad United in PSL 2026. He had been included in the squad as a replacement for Shamar Joseph. However, the Zimbabwean fast bowler, Blessing Muzarabani, opted out of his PSL contract to play in IPL 2026 instead. He has joined the KKR squad as a replacement for Mustafizur Rahman.
