WPL 2025: The auction for the Women's Premier League 2025 is over. In this event held in Bengaluru on Sunday, 15 December, five teams bought a total of 19 players for Rs 9.05 crore. Four of them became crorepatis. India's uncapped batsman Simran Sheikh was the most expensive player in this auction. She was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 1.90 crore. At the same time, Sneh Rana and Poonam Yadav remained unsold.

This time the most expensive player in the auction was 22-year-old Simran Sheikh. She was made a part of the Gujarat Giants team for Rs 1.9 crore. This year she emerged as the most expensive player in the WPL Auction 2025.
