ICC Men's Player of the Month for July 2025: Indian Test team captain Shubman Gill has been selected as the ICC's best male player of the month of July. Gill recently performed well on the England tour. He left behind England Test captain Ben Stokes and South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder in the race for this award. The 25-year-old batsman scored 567 runs at an average of 94.50 in three Test matches played in July, including a double century.

Most ICC Player of the Month award winner: Shubman Gill has won the ICC Player of the Month award for the fourth time, which is the highest by any male player. Gill has previously won this award in January 2023, September 2023 and February 2025. This was Gill's first tour as India's Test captain and the 25-year-old Gill said that it is a good honor for him to get this honor. "It feels great to be named ICC's Best Men's Player of the Month for July. This time the award is even more important because it is for my performance in my first Test series as captain. The double century in Birmingham is definitely something I will always cherish and it will be one of the highlights of my England tour," Gill was quoted as saying by ICC.

Stylish middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer has won the 'Player of the Month' award twice. For the first time, he received this honor for his excellent performance in the home series against West Indies and Sri Lanka in February 2022. His confident batting helped the team recover from difficult situations. For the second time, in March 2025, he performed brilliantly as the highest run-scorer in the Champions Trophy, for which he was again given this award. His consistency and match-winning innings made him deserve this prestigious honor.

Jasprit Bumrah, one of the best fast bowlers in the world, is known for his yorkers and accurate bowling. His brilliant performance in the T20 World Cup in June 2024 led India to many important victories. His economical bowling and wicket-taking ability made him the 'Player of the Month'. In the home Test series against Australia in December 2024, he also troubled the opposition batsmen with his fast bowling and took important wickets, due to which he received this award for the second time.

Young and aggressive wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant created history by winning this award in January 2021. His bold and match-winning innings in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played against Australia won everyone's heart. His fighting innings of 97 runs in Sydney and the winning innings of 89 runs in Brisbane are still fresh in the minds of cricket fans. His performance not only won the series for India but also established him as the ICC's first 'Player of the Month'.
