West Indies' powerful batsman Shai Hope is ninth on this list. He has scored 6,113 runs in 148 ODIs at an average of 50.52. These include 19 centuries and 30 half-centuries.

At number eight on this list is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Indian captain and one of the best finishers. He has finished many matches on his own and has also been the world's number one batsman. Dhoni scored 10,773 runs in 350 ODIs at an average of 50.57, including 10 centuries and 73 half-centuries.

Former England cricketer Jonathan Trott is the least talked about batsman on this list, but he was a highly effective batsman. Trott retired from cricket citing mental health issues, but while he played, he remained one of the most technically capable batsmen. Trott scored 2,819 runs in 68 ODIs at an average of 51.25, including four centuries and 22 half-centuries.

Daryl Mitchell, one of New Zealand's finest all-rounders, is ranked sixth on the list, and his recent performances have earned him considerable international recognition. Mitchell's speciality is his ability to adapt his batting to the needs and circumstances. He can rotate the strike when required and change gears at any time. Mitchell has so far scored 2338 runs in 56 ODIs at an average of 53.13, including seven centuries and 11 half-centuries.

Former South African star AB de Villiers is in second place. Known as "Mr. 360," de Villiers' average of 53.50 makes him one of the most dangerous players in cricket history. De Villiers scored 9577 runs in 228 ODIs.

Australia's Michael Bevan was known for his brilliant batting and strike rotation and is still considered one of the best finishers in ODIs. Bevan scored 6912 runs in 232 ODIs at an average of 53.58, including six centuries and 46 half-centuries. Bevan was a key batsman during Australia's golden era and contributed to many of the team's victories.

Pakistan's Babar Azam is ranked fifth and is considered one of the most technically sound batsmen in modern cricket. Babar has set many records, although his current form is questionable. Babar has so far scored 6501 runs in 140 ODIs at an average of 53.72, including 20 centuries and 37 half-centuries.

Second place is India's young batsman, considered the successor to King Kohli and known as Prince. His consistency could take his record to even greater heights in the coming years. Gill has scored 2,818 runs in 58 ODIs at an average of 56.36, including eight centuries and 15 half-centuries.

Number one on this list is India's Virat Kohli, who is not only known as a run machine but whose consistency is unparalleled in ODI cricket. Kohli is considered one of the best ODI batsmen, and recently the great Sunil Gavaskar described him as even better than Sachin Tendulkar. With an average of 58.02, Kohli currently has the highest ODI average in the world. His 52 centuries are the most in ODIs. He has scored 14,390 runs in 306 matches in this format.
