The third match of the 2025-26 Ashes series between Australia and England was played at the Adelaide Oval. Australia defeated England by 82 runs in this match, taking an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. England were set a target of 435 runs for victory, but the English team was bowled out for 352 runs in the second session on the final day of the match. With this emphatic victory, the Australian team won the Ashes series in just 11 days. After winning the Perth and Brisbane Tests by eight wickets each, Australia also won the third Test match.
Following this victory, the Australian team maintains its dominance in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table, while England's position is even worse than India's. England's win percentage has now dropped to below 30%.
