Indian women's cricket team opener Smriti Mandhana wreaked havoc in the first T20 match against England. Smriti played a stormy century innings at Trent Bridge ground in Nottingham. She scored 112 runs in 62 balls. This was her first T20 International century. She ended her century drought in the shortest format of cricket after 12 years. With the help of her innings, India defeated England by 97 runs in the first T20 match. Now after this match, Smriti Mandhana has benefited in the latest ranking released by ICC.

Indian star Smriti Mandhana has jumped in the latest T20I women's batsmen rankings released by the ICC. She has been rewarded for scoring a brilliant century in the first T20I match against England and has now reached the best rating of her career.
Two South African players have benefited in the rankings after the end of the series against the West Indies. Mandhana, who has established herself as the number 1 batsman in ODIs, recently thrashed the England bowlers in Nottingham.
She played a brilliant innings of 112 runs in the first T20I match. Due to this innings, she has moved up one place to third in the T20I batsmen's rankings. She has 771 rating points and has achieved a new career best rating. Smriti is just 23 points behind number 1 Beth Mooney.
