The first edition of the Lanka T10 Super League organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will kick off in the city of Kandy on December 11. The opening match of the Lanka T10 Super League 2024, after a spectacular opening ceremony, will be played between Jaffna Kings and Hambantota Bangla Tigers, while the second match of the day will see Nuwara Eliya Kings take on Colombo Jaguars and the third and final match of the day will see Galle Marvels take on Kandy Bolts.
The format of the Lanka T10 Super League 2024 will be such that each team will play seven matches, once against three opponents and twice against two opponents, to secure the top four positions in the points table. With this, the qualified teams will move one step closer to reaching the final of the league, which will take place on December 19 after the playoff stage.
