Rohit will be seen captaining in ODIs. However, after his rest on the Sri Lanka tour, a new captain will have to be found. In such a situation, the selection committee can hand over the command to Hardik Pandya or KL Rahul for the ODI as well as the T20 series. Pandya's claim is considered strong in T20. KL Rahul can be given the captaincy in ODIs.
