The sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will see Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday, April 2. Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season.
KKR lost their first match to the Mumbai Indians by six wickets. However, their batting performed well and scored 220 runs in that game. They will hope to continue that strong batting performance in this match.
SRH also lost their opening game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets. In that match, most of the runs came from their captain Ishan Kishan. Other batters will need to support him if SRH want to win.
Here are three players who could score the most runs in the KKR vs SRH IPL 2026 match.
3. Finn Allen (KKR)

Finn Allen gave KKR a good start in their first match against Mumbai Indians. The right-handed batter scored 37 runs from just 17 balls, hitting two sixes and two fours.
The New Zealand opener is known for his aggressive batting. Recently, he scored an unbeaten 100 off only 33 balls against South Africa in the semifinal of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at Eden Gardens.
Allen has scored 5,296 runs in 183 T20 matches with a strike rate of 176.71. He has also hit six centuries and 33 half-centuries. His attacking style can help KKR get another fast start.
2. Ishan Kishan (SRH)

SRH captain Ishan Kishan was the best batter for his team in the first match. The wicketkeeper-batter scored 80 runs from 38 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. His innings included five sixes and eight fours.
Kishan has also been in great form recently. He scored 317 runs in nine innings for India in the 2026 T20 World Cup. Earlier this year, he also scored his first T20I century against New Zealand.
Overall, Kishan has scored 6,399 runs in 230 T20 matches, including seven centuries and 36 fifties. He also has a good record against KKR, which makes him an important player for SRH.
1. Travis Head (SRH)

Australian batter Travis Head will also be a key player for SRH. He did not score big runs in the first match, but he has done well against KKR in the past.
Last season, Head scored 374 runs in 12 matches with a strike rate of 162.61. He also scored 76 runs from 40 balls against KKR last year and an unbeaten 75 in another match.
In total, Head has scored 4,563 runs in 175 T20 matches with two centuries and 27 fifties. If he finds his form, he can score big runs and help SRH.
With strong hitters on both teams, fans can expect an exciting match at Eden Gardens. Players like Finn Allen, Ishan Kishan, and Travis Head could play a big role in deciding the result.
