Karun Nair returned to the Indian team after 3006 days: A new chapter has begun for Team India. Karun scored 863 runs in 9 matches in the 2024-25 season of Ranji Trophy. He scored 4 centuries and 2 half-centuries. Apart from this, he was also the top scorer in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Karun scored 779 runs in 9 matches at an average of 389.50. In this, he scored 5 centuries.

Karun Nair cricket career

Karun's comeback is one of the most tremendous comebacks in cricket. In six Test matches for India, he scored 374 runs at an average of 62.33. This includes a triple century. During this, his score in seven innings has been - 4, 13, 303*, 26, 0, 23 and 5 runs.

In first-class cricket, Karun has scored 8211 runs at an impressive average of 49.16. These include 23 centuries and 36 half-centuries. Despite the triple century, he was sidelined.

He was part of the 2018 England tour team, but he never got a chance to play in that series. He last played for India in February 2017. India then faced Australia in the Test at Dharamsala.
