The bowler who has been released by the BCCI is none other than Jasprit Bumrah, who did not get a place in the playing-11 in the fifth match due to workload management. The team management had already decided about Bumrah that he would play only three Test matches on this tour. He was scheduled to play the first, third and last Test matches. However, there was a fear of losing the series in the fourth Test match, so he was made to play and now he was rested in the fifth Test. Bumrah had suffered a back injury during the Australia tour. He has also undergone surgery. Due to this, special attention is paid to his workload.
