Ishan Kishan ruled out of first match of Duleep Trophy: Before the start of Duleep Trophy 2025, the East Zone team has suffered a major setback. In the absence of Ishan Kishan, Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran will be seen captaining the East Zone team. 20-year-old Ashirwad Swain has been included in the team in place of Ishan Kishan. Talking about Ashirwad Swain, he has played 11 matches in first class cricket so far, in which his bat has scored 615 runs in 21 innings at an average of 30.75. During this, his best score has been 77 runs and he has scored three half-centuries. Along with batting, his performance in wicketkeeping has also been good. There he has also done 32 catches and 3 stumpings. Let us tell you that in the first quarter-final match of Duleep Trophy 2025, East Zone will face North Zone. This match will be played from 28 to 31 August at the BCCI Center of Excellence Ground in Bengaluru.
