IPL Auction 2026 Live Updates: Hello and welcome to our live blog. The mini-auction for IPL 2026 is today. All 10 franchises will be bidding for a total of 77 available slots. Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings have the largest purses available.

This mini-auction is crucial for the teams ahead of the 19th season of the IPL, which begins on March 31, 2026. The fate of approximately 369 players will be decided by the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. Of these, only 77 lucky players will secure a place in one of the teams for IPL 2026.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have a massive purse of ₹64.3 crore in the mini-auction. It is believed that KKR could largely dictate the direction of today's bidding. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), with ₹43.4 crore, can also try their luck with several big-name players.
