The Indian Premier League (IPL) is famous not only for exciting cricket but also for the strong identity of every team. One important part of that identity is the team jersey. Each season, fans look forward to seeing the new jerseys as teams introduce fresh designs, colours, and sponsors.

Ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, all ten franchises have revealed their new jerseys. While some teams kept their traditional colours, others introduced new styles and patterns.

Let’s take a simple look at the jerseys of all IPL teams for the upcoming season.

1. Gujarat Titans (GT)

The Gujarat Titans, winners of IPL 2022, have mostly kept their old design. Their jersey still features a dark navy-blue base with gold accents.

However, a few small changes have been made. A star has been added above the team logo to represent their IPL title win. The team has also changed its main sponsor from Dream11 to Birla Estates. The popular thunder pattern remains part of the jersey design.

2. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders introduced a new jersey with the theme “Lines of Legacy.”

The design includes several lines that represent important moments from the team’s history. These lines come together to form the initials KKR, showing the journey and achievements of the franchise.

3. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings continue with their famous yellow jersey. The kit was launched with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and young player Ayush Mahtre.

The jersey has geometric patterns and zig-zag designs on the shoulders and sleeves. It also includes five stars above the logo, which represent the team’s five IPL title victories.

4. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru revealed a new jersey created with sports brand PUMA.

The team kept its famous navy blue and red colours. A gold star above the logo represents their IPL 2025 title win. The jersey also has a new zipper collar design, and the new title sponsor is Nothing.

5. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

Lucknow Super Giants have introduced a completely new look for IPL 2026.

Their new jersey has a bright red base with bold blue vertical stripes and gold accents on the shoulders and collar. The design looks similar to the famous kit of FC Barcelona, making it one of the most noticeable jerseys this season.

6. Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Punjab Kings have kept their red and blue colours, which represent energy and pride.

The new jersey design includes a lion symbol in the centre, which stands for strength and courage. Around it, the fabric features diamond-shaped patterns, showing how players grow and improve through hard work and competition.

The design includes black flame-like patterns on the front, matching the team’s theme “Play with Fire.” The jersey also has a polo-style collar.
