Now, with extensive changes, the ground is ready to be renovated.

KSCA President Venkatesh Prasad has clarified that all pending security-related work will be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He said:
"The expert committee is conducting regular inspections. RCB will assemble here on March 15th, and the famous 'Unbox' event, which takes place a week before the opening match, will also be held here."

This time, Bengaluru will not only be the home of RCB, but will also be the hub of the entire tournament.
- League Matches: RCB will play five league matches at Chinnaswamy.
- Opening Match: The first match of IPL 2026 will be played here.
