Punjab has played four matches in the playoffs. Out of this, the team has won only one match and lost three. Apart from 2014, two semi-finals were played in the Eliminator held in 2008 and in the semi-final eliminator match, Chennai Super Kings defeated Punjab by nine wickets.
Wriddhiman Saha has scored the most runs in the playoffs for Punjab. He scored 156 runs in three innings. After this Virender Sehwag is second with 131 runs and Manan Vohra is third with 127 runs.
Karanveer Singh has taken the most wickets in the playoffs for Punjab. He took seven wickets in three innings. Mitchell Johnson is second with five wickets and Akshar Patel is third with three wickets.
