West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine will be one of the key players of Kolkata Knight Riders in the upcoming season. He will be seen opening the innings for KKR. Ajinkya Rahane will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in the upcoming season and will also lead the team as the KKR management has appointed him as the captain for this season. His previous experience of leading Rajasthan Royals will also help him lead the defending champions. He has played 185 matches and scored 4,642 runs at an average of 30.14 and a strike rate of 123.42.
Venkatesh Iyer, the most expensive Indian player in IPL history, will play for Kolkata Knight Riders again this year. Where he used the right-to-match card for them at a price of 23 crores. He has played 50 matches and scored 1326 runs at an average of 31.57 and a strike rate of 137.13.

Rinku Singh Given his volatile ability in the batting order, he will be very useful for the team in the upcoming IPL 2025. He has played 45 matches, scoring 893 runs at an average of 30.79 and a strike rate of 143.34.
One of the most destructive all-rounders in the world, Andre Russell has proved himself many times with his performance for KKR in the last decade. Andre has many times demonstrated his ability to change the course of the match single-handedly. He has played 126 matches, scoring 2,484 runs at an average of 29.22 and a strike rate of 174.93. Apart from this, he has taken 115 wickets at an economy rate of 9.36.

Chetan Sakariya is a young, exciting Indian talent who will play for the team after Umran Malik was ruled out of the IPL and the team has signed him as his replacement.
Kolkata Knight Riders have retained young and exciting Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana in the team for the upcoming season. Harshit recently made his debut for India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. He has taken 25 wickets in 21 matches played so far at an economy of 15.40.
Vaibhav Arora will be another important fast bowler for KKR in the upcoming season, he will bowl along with Harshir Rana, Anrich Nortje after Mitchell Starc left KKR. He has taken 19 wickets in 20 matches played so far at an economy of 9.18.
Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who played a key role in India's victory in the Champions Trophy, will be one of the biggest game-changers for Kolkata Knight Riders in the upcoming season. He has taken 83 wickets in 71 matches played so far at an economy rate of 7.56.
The South African pacer will be KKR's main overseas bowler this season and would look to fill the void of a match-winner like Mitchell Starc, who has taken 60 wickets in 46 matches at an economy of 8.96.
