The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) began on March 22, 2025, but was temporarily suspended on May 9 due to rising tensions on the India-Pakistan border. The situation eased once a ceasefire was announced, and on May 17, the competition was held again. The remaining league matches are currently being played across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
Following a recent BCCI meeting, the playoff schedule and venues have been finalized. While Mullanpur (New Chandigarh) will host the first two playoff games, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the final two matches, including the grand finale.
