The Women's World Cup will be held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Previously, the venue of the tournament had been changed several times. Initially, it was scheduled to be held in Bihar in June. Later, it was considered to be held in Hyderabad from August 3 to 10. However, the tournament was moved from there as well.
Later, news came that the tournament had been postponed indefinitely until the completion of the PKL. However, when the schedule was announced for the third time, Bangladesh was again given the hosting rights instead of India. Now, the second edition of the Women's Kabaddi World Cup will be held in Dhaka from November 17 to 25.

The Women's Kabaddi World Cup is being held after a gap of 13 years. The Indian team won the inaugural edition in Patna in 2012. At that time, Iran finished second, Japan third, and Thailand fourth.
