Yuvraj Singh won the World Cup in 2000 with the Indian U19 team captained by Mohammad Kaif. In that tournament, he performed brilliantly, scoring 203 runs and taking 12 wickets in 8 matches, for which he also received the 'Player of the Series' award. Later, Yuvraj played a crucial role in helping India win its first T20 World Cup in 2007. He scored 148 runs in 6 matches in that tournament and created history by hitting six sixes in a single over against England.

Virat Kohli captained the Indian U19 team to victory in the World Cup in 2008. Later, he also won the senior T20 World Cup in 2024 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. He received the 'Player of the Match' award for his excellent innings of 76 runs off 59 balls against South Africa in the final match.
