However, India was eliminated from the tournament after losing to West Indies in the semi-final.
Jasprit Bumrah
In the 2024 T20 World Cup final against South Africa, Virat Kohli delivered a stellar performance with the bat, and Jasprit Bumrah shone with the ball. Virat Kohli was named 'Player of the Match' in the final, while Jasprit Bumrah received the 'Player of the Tournament' award. Thus, these two Indian stars made the title victory a historic one. Virat played a magnificent innings of 76 runs off 59 balls in the final, while Bumrah single-handedly turned the match around. He took two wickets for just 18 runs in his four overs.
