All cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for the Asia Cup to be held in UAE from 9 to 28 September. The Indian cricket team is in Group A with Pakistan, which also includes Oman and UAE. That means India and Pakistan are strong contenders to make it to the Super 4. There too, there can be a match between these two. The Women's World Cup is also going to start in September. How many matches will Team India play in Asia Cup?

A total of 8 teams are playing in the Asia Cup, which are divided into 2 groups. Every team will play 1 match each with the 3 teams of its group. After this, every team will also play 3 matches in the Super 4. If India reaches the Super 4, then Team India will play a total of 6 matches in the Asia Cup. If it reaches the final, this number will increase to 7.

Team India's 2025 schedule after Asia Cup

After the Asia Cup ends on the 28th, Team India will play 2 Test matches against West Indies. After this, a series of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches will be played on the Australia tour. Here Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return, who now play only in the ODI format. After this, there will be India vs South Africa Test, ODI and T20 series.
