IND vs SA: The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has announced India’s team for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa. The first match will be played on December 9, 2025, in Cuttack.
Shubman Gill Makes a Comeback
Shubman Gill is back in the squad after recovering from a neck injury. He got hurt during the Kolkata Test against South Africa and missed the next Test in Guwahati and the ongoing ODI series. Doctors advised him to rest, and he has been away from cricket for some time.
Shubman Gill has played 33 T20Is and scored 837 runs. He has formed a good opening pair with Abhishek Sharma, and India will hope he gets some match practice before future tournaments. However, he will play only if he gets final fitness approval from the BCCI.
