The India vs West Indies Test series will be part of the World Test Championship 2027. India is ranked third with a PCT of 46.67 in five matches. West Indies, on the other hand, have not won a single Test in the current World Test Championship cycle and will look to open their account in the series against India. The first Test will be played from October 2 to 6 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The second Test will be held from October 10 to 14 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Karun Nair, who returned to the Indian Test team for the England tour after eight years, has been dropped after disappointing in his comeback series.
