India vs New Zealand in ICC tournaments: The teams of India and New Zealand have come face to face 15 times including the finals of ICC tournaments i.e. ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy and World Test Championship. Out of these, India has won only four matches, while New Zealand has won 10. One match has been canceled due to rain.
Team India had defeated New Zealand twice in the 1987 World Cup. After this, they were defeated by seven wickets in the 2003 World Cup. After this, Team India failed to win over New Zealand in any ICC tournament for 20 years.
