ENG vs IND 1st Test: The first match of the ongoing five-match Test series between England and India has started today on 20 June at Headingley Ground, Leeds. Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill scored centuries for Team India, who batted first after losing the toss on the first day of the game.

On the basis of the brilliant innings of both, by the end of the day's play, after batting for 85 overs, the Indian team has scored a total of 359 runs at the loss of three wickets. At the time of stumps, captain Shubman Gill is present at the crease with 127* and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant with 65* runs.

However, debutant Sai Sudarshan was caught out against Stokes in four balls without scoring any runs. After this, Jaiswal and Gill put Team India in a strong position by making a great partnership of 129 runs for the third wicket.

At the end of the first day's play, Shubman Gill is playing with 127 * runs in 175 balls with the help of 16 and 1 six, while Rishabh Pant is batting on 65 * runs in 102 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes.

On the other hand, if we talk about England's bowling, captain Ben Stokes has got two successes. Apart from this, Brydon Carse has got a wicket. It will be interesting to see how many more runs the Indian team can add to its innings on the second day of the game?
