IND vs ENG: Indian team's young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy may be out of the remaining matches of the England tour due to a knee injury. Let us tell you that the fourth match of the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England will be played in Manchester from July 23. News of Nitish Reddy's injury has come to the fore before the Manchester Test. According to a report by news agency PTI, Reddy suffered an injury while training in the gym on Sunday. The Indian medical team found a ligament injury during scanning.

Nitish Kumar Reddy has not been able to prove himself in this ongoing series between India and England. He could not take a single wicket in both innings of the Edgbaston Test and was dismissed after scoring one run each. At the same time, in the Lord's Test, he took two important wickets in his first over and also took another wicket in the second innings. Meanwhile, his disappointing performance with the bat continued, where he scored 30 runs in the first innings. Then in the run chase, he scored 13 runs and India lost by 22 runs.

Fast bowlers Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh are also injured. As a cover for both, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday included fast bowler Anshul Kamboj in the Indian team. Kamboj was part of the India A team that played two unofficial matches against England Lions before the series. Kamboj took five wickets in these matches and also scored a half-century in the second match. Arshdeep was recently injured during practice.

Bumrah's playing status not clear

It is not yet clear whether Bumrah will play in the Manchester Test or not. It is known that Bumrah had already made it clear that he would play only three matches in this series. He took part in the first Test match played in Leeds, while he was rested from the second Test in Birmingham. Bumrah was included in the playing-11 for the third Test and now it will be interesting to see whether he is selected in the next match or not. On the other hand, Akash Deep is suffering from a groin injury and there is no clarity on his availability. Siraj has played all three matches so far, so it remains to be seen whether the team management gives him rest or not.
