IND vs ENG 5th Test Day 2 Highlights: The second day's play ended on August 1 in the fifth Test match between England and India at Kennington Oval. Today, while India's first innings ended at 224 runs, England scored 247 runs in the first innings and gained a slight lead of 23 runs over the visiting team.

After this, England lost their 9 wickets for a total score of 247 runs after batting 51.2 overs in the first innings. Chris Woakes did not come to bat due to a shoulder injury. Jack Crowley scored 64, Ben Duckett 43 and Harry Brook scored 53 runs for England in the first innings. Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna took 4-4 wickets and Akashdeep took 1 wicket for India.
