Who will replace Jasprit Bumrah in the fourth test: Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane has named Jasprit Bumrah's replacement for the fourth Test match, if he does not play the match. Bumrah's playing is not certain as the team management has not yet taken any decision on including him in the playing XI. Ajinkya Rahane has said that if Bumrah does not play the fourth Test, then the management should play Arshdeep Singh in his place. Singh can swing the ball both ways.

Rahane said on his YouTube channel, "I think so. If Bumrah is not playing, then Arshdeep Singh is the right choice. In England you need a left-arm fast bowler who can swing the ball both ways and also make a rough pitch for spinners from a different angle. So if Bumrah does not play, Arshdeep should play the next match."
Arshdeep has not yet made his debut in Test cricket. He has played 21 first-class matches so far in his career. During this, he has taken 66 wickets in 37 innings. Arshdeep Singh was also injured during the practice session in Beckenham before the fourth Test. India's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate gave an update on Arshdeep's injury. He told that he had a cut while trying to stop the ball.

On the other hand, Indian team's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate said that the medical team is evaluating Arshdeep Singh's injury. Doeschate says, 'While bowling, the ball hit Arshdeep Singh's hand, then he was trying to stop it. It is just a cut. We have to see how deep the cut is. The medical team has taken him to the doctor to find out whether he needs stitches or not. This will be very important for our plan for the next few days.
