Rishabh Pant scored 54 runs despite having a fracture. Ravindra Jadeja scored 20 and Shardul Thakur scored 41 runs. Washington Sundar scored 27 runs. For England, Jofra Archer took 3 wickets and Chris Woakes and Liam Dawson took 1-1 wickets.

England's Jack Crawley scored 84 runs. Ravindra Jadeja got him caught by KL Rahul. Jack Crawley along with Ben Duckett shared a 166-run partnership for the first wicket. Ben Duckett scored 94 runs. He became the victim of debutant Anshul Kamboj.
