The ICC has released the schedule of the qualifiers for the Women's T20 World Cup 2026. The qualifier matches will start from January 12, 2026 and will be played till February 2, 2026. Nepal has been given the hosting rights of this tournament. In this 21-day event, a total of 10 teams will clash at two different venues in Mulpani, Kathmandu.
Bangladesh and Ireland teams have already entered the qualifiers directly by playing in the T20 World Cup 2024, while Thailand and Nepal (from Asia), while the USA (from America) have qualified for the tournament. Now out of the remaining 5 teams, two teams each will be taken from Africa and Europe, while one team will be taken from the East Asia Pacific region.
The qualifiers to be held in Nepal will be crucial for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, in which 10 teams have been divided into two different groups. There will be 5 teams in each group. After this, the Super Six stage and the final match will be played. The full schedule will be announced soon.
