India and Pakistan will be placed in the same group, while the USA, Netherlands, and Namibia will be the remaining three teams. Furthermore, Sri Lanka's group could be a bit tough, also including Australia, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman, which is why it is being called the Group of Death.

The T20 World Cup 2026 will have four groups of five teams each, with England and the West Indies likely to be placed in the same group, along with three more teams: Bangladesh, Nepal, and Italy. Additionally, the fourth group could include South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, the UAE, and Canada.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8.
