ICC World Cup Schedule Change: The ICC changed the dates of 9 matches of the World Cup in view of the festival season in India. The ICC has made changes in the dates of some matches of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Wednesday. For cricket fans, the date that attracted the most attention was the date of the match between India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK). The ICC changed the dates of 9 World Cup matches (World Cup 2023 New Schedule) in view of the festival season in India. It also includes the high voltage match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad. Now the match will be played between these two on 14 October.

ICC organizes big tournaments like World Cup and Champions Trophy. The schedule for a tournament is issued by the ICC in consultation with the circumstances of the host country and the participating nations. He would also change the schedule if there was a problem. Something similar happened with the schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023. However, this is not the first time that the ICC has changed the schedule of a major tournament. The ICC was to host the ODI World in 2011, hosted by India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, but the ICC took away the rights to host the tournament from Pakistan due to security reasons. The India-Pakistan match in the 2016 T20 World Cup was to be held in Dharamshala, but 10 days before the match, the match was shifted to Kolkata. Security reasons were cited behind this. Finally the match was played at Eden Gardens, where India won.
T20 World Cup of the year 2020 was played in Australia and the year 2021 was organized in India. Due to the Kovid epidemic, the ICC made many changes. The 2020 mega event has been postponed to 2022. At the same time, the T20 World Cup of the year 2021 was played in India and Oman.
