Indian women’s cricket team will once again be seen in whites playing Test cricket from 16th June 2021. The team will begin their tour of England with a one-off Test, with the match being played at the County Ground in Bristol. There is a lot of excitement about this Test as many players of the Indian team would like to prove themselves in this format as well. On the other hand, the England women’s team will have a home advantage on their side.

1 – Mithali Raj will be 38 Years 195 days old when she takes the field against England in the match. This will make her the oldest Indian Test captain and the second-oldest overall in the 21st century.

3 – If Shafali Verma is included in the playing XI for this Test, she will become the third-youngest Indian player to feature in a Test match. Only Rajani Venugopal and Shubhangi Kulkarni made debut at lower age than her.

8 – There can be multiple players who may make their Test debut for India in this match. In their Test against England in 2014, 8 Indian players were handed debut cap.

6 – The Indian team will be playing a Test match after a long gap of 6 years and 212 days. However, this is not the longest gap between two Tests for the Indian team. Their Test against England in 2014 was played after a gap of 7 years and 349 days.
