Regarding his injury, New Zealand Cricket has given an update that he will have to undergo surgery for his injury soon. In such a situation, Devon will remain out of the field for 8 months due to his surgery. His injury has increased the problems of MS Dhoni's CSK team.
New Zealand Cricket gave an update on star batsman Devon Conway ahead of the second Test against Australia. The Blackcaps said that Devon will take approximately 8 weeks to recover from the injury. In his place, Will O'Rourke has been included in the team for the Test match. Apart from this, Devon Conway may be out of half the season of IPL 2024, due to which the problems of CSK team have increased.
CSK team's match winner Devon Conway had a great opening for the Chennai team last season. Devon was signed by CSK for Rs 1 crore. Conway played 16 matches in IPL 2023 and scored 6 half-centuries and scored a total of 672 runs.
During this period, his highest score was 92 runs unbeaten. He was the third highest run scorer in the last IPL season. Apart from this, Devon has played 23 matches so far for Chennai Super Kings, in which he has scored 924 runs with his bat.
