Team India became the first team in women's cricket to score more than 600 runs in Test cricket. Team India declared its innings at 603 runs for six wickets in the match played against South Africa in Chennai. Shefali Verma scored 205 runs from the host side while Smriti Mandhana contributed 149 runs. In reply, Sneh Rana bowled lethally and took 8 wickets for 77 runs.
